You can delete your beerXP account and the associated data at any time, in the app or by email.
In the app (fastest)
- Open beerXP and sign in to your account.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Deletion cannot be undone.
Without access to the app
Send an email to suporte@beerxp.com with the subject “Delete my account”, from the email address you signed up with. We may ask for confirmation to make sure the request is yours. We reply within 15 days.
What is deleted
- Your profile, photo and account information.
- Your drink-ins, photos, ratings and comments.
- Your likes, saved beers and follow relationships.
- Your progress: XP, levels and achievements.
We may keep only what the law requires us to hold for a set period, such as access logs required by Brazil's Internet Civil Framework (Marco Civil da Internet). Deletion starts right away and usually finishes within a few hours. Database backups keep versions for up to 7 days, and data that has already been deleted may remain in them until then. Usage and error data linked to the account’s internal identifier (without your name or e-mail) may remain with our analytics providers for their retention period.
Signed in with Google, Facebook or Apple?
Deleting your account on beerXP does not delete your account with those services. If you want, also remove beerXP's access in each service's security settings.
